Welcome to Crepe Myrtle Acres! We are located in Angier, North Carolina. We have a beautiful selection of AKC and CKC registered Blue Heelers and Welsh Pembroke Corgis.

All of our litters are raised around children, horses, and ducks. Both breeds are high spirited animals full of personality.

Australian Cattle Dogs thrive on having a “job“ to do. They need plenty of land and area to run and play. They are very high energy dogs.
Their history of wide open spaces and herding cattle means a corgi loves physical activity. Daily exercise is essential for this breed, but due to their short stature, it’s not recommended to do long distance running or bicycle rides.
Corgis are well-known for their lovely combination of personality traits. Affectionate without being needy, a “big dog” bark without being aggressive, this breed is a wonderful balance for many households. Due to their herding past, sometimes they may try to boldly corral you into playing with them. They are also surprisingly fearless, perhaps knowing that they are the cutest creature in the room.
ACDs love to herd. Built for agility, speed, and focus, this breed can particularly get hyper-focused on chasing, hunting, and protecting their families. It’s important to keep this dog entertained though, as the Heelers are a curious breed, and can easily get into trouble if they aren’t properly trained and exercised.
